Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S leaks in live video showing iPhone X like gestures
19 February 2018
It seems Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Mi Mix 2S at MWC 2018 next week in Barcelona. Previously we only had renders of this upcoming smartphone, but now a live video leak confirms the presence of this device from Xiaomi.
As you can see in the above video, the user uses the iPhone X gestures on the Mi Mix 2S prototype. In case you are not aware of, the iPhone X like gestures are already available in MIUI Beta ROMs, thus its not nothing new. But, still the video looks sceptical as the top part of the phone is intentionally not covered in the frame.
The previous render leak suggested that the Mix 2S will have a camera notch at the top right corner and lesser bezels at the bottom than the previous generations. Even in this video, the device has smaller bezels as well as the leak source confirms it is truly the upcoming Xiaomi Mix 2S.
As for specifications are concerned, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM and a whopping 256 GB of internal storage. At front, it will sport a 5.99 inches FHD+ 18:9 display with a camera notch similar to the Essential Phone but the top right corner. Also, it is expected to feature AI powered cameras and will run Android Oreo with Project Treblesupport. Last but not least, the whole package will be backed by a 3,400 mAh battery.
